When choosing a prospect for our breeding program, our top priority is health. We only choose our breeding dogs from clear health tested lines.
Our next priority is temperament. We breed family pets, and we have worked hard to ensure that we offer calm and well adjusted puppies.
All of our breeding Standard Poodles are either CKC and/or AKC registered. We may or may not register our puppies depending on demand. Our puppies are not for the show ring due to having the full tail, so most people would rather have a lower price than a registration.
We do not believe in tail cropping so your puppy will come to you with a beautiful, natural tail. We do not take the dew claws off either because they are necessary for the well being of the puppy as it ages. Also, we feel that both procedures are painful and risk infection, thus taxing the young puppy's developing immune system.
All of our breeding AussieDoodles were born in our home from registered parents. We now breed them back to our Standard Poodle to get F1B AussieDoodles. These puppies are the genius' of the doodle world. They are non-shedding and have the same gentle temperament as their moms.

This is our Sportsmans Saffron (Sassy). She is a Chocolate Brown Standard Poodle and is CKC Registered. She is an amazing chocolate brown girl that was born right here at Sportsman Standard Poodles. Sassy has a very affectionate personality, very loyal and obedient. She loves to go to the beach and run in the sand, or snuggle up beside us and watch movies.
